BERITA BOLA,- Donetsk - Borussia Dortmund have made a €23 million (£19,5m) bid for Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Shakthar Donetsk midfielder. Sergei Palkin, Shakhtar Donetsk CEO, confirmed the news that Dortmund is planning to recriut the 24 years old midfielder to Westfalenstadion. However, Palkin considered the bid to be cheaper than what they asked.
The Ukrainian club was said to make an offer of €30m (£25m) for the player, who has gone missing after not showing up with the rest of the Shakhtar squad for pre-season training. "We are prepared to sell Mkhitaryan for €30m (£25m), this offer stands for the next 10 days. If Mkhitaryan wishes to leave, they have to pay this amount for him," he added, as cited from Fox Sports Asia.
Meanwhile, Palkin claimed that there has been no approach from other contender for Mkhitaryan.
