BERITA BOLA,- Naples - Radio Marte, official radio station of the Napoli football club, claimed that Napoli has agreed to a €58 million (around US$76,09 million) bid made by Chelsea for Edinson Cavani. Cavani has been in the transfer spotlight for a couple of season and continue to be associated with top clubs like Real Madrid and Manchester City.
"We have received news that Napoli has sealed a deal with Chelsea for Cavani," cited Football Italia. "Rafa Benitez also gave the all-clear. But before making the move official, Napoli wants to secure the striker who will replace Il Matador [Cavani's nickname]."
The transfer will put The Blues ahead of Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Paris Saint-Germain, its serious contenders on recruiting the 26-year old striker.
